Regular Legal Practitioner in the Dhaka Bar. He Prosecuted in many reputed cases like Bangabandhu murder Case, National four leaders murder case etc. which have been reported in the Law Journals.

He has been elected as a member of Parliament in 2008.

He is serving as State Minister for Law, Justice & Parliamentary Affairs and a member of the Parliamentary Standing Committee for the Ministry of Law, Justice & Parliamentary Affairs in the 9^th Parliament.

In his Student life he joined in the Bangladesh Chatra League (Student front of Bangladesh Awami League);

He Participated in the National liberation War in 1971 as a Freedom Fighter and fought in the Dhaka city.

He served as an Additional Public Prosecutor & Public Prosecutor in the Dhaka sessions court since 1996-2001.

He served as a Joint Secretary of Dhaka City Awami League & Now he is Secretary-in-charge of Dhaka City Awami League.

He is an executive member of Bangladesh Bar Council since 2008.

He has been rendering various social services since student life and earned immense reputation.
